It took around 2 hours to play 6 holes on a Saturday evening at 5:30pm. This is absolutely ridiculous and should never happen. After speaking to a few people apparently this is always happening at this course and nothing is ever done about it. Thankfully after we skipped a few holes and a few groups of 4somes we were able to play around 15 holes. 2 stars for the near perfect fairways and greens but the sloth like play ruins it all.

Course has a newly renovated clubhouse with a full bar and pro shop. Place is in great shape fairways and greens are pure. Was about 80 dollars per person for 18 holes. This is a public course. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Will be back if im in the Concord/Charlotte area again.

Went today and booked 18 holes on a prepaid deal. My tee time was at 2pm. I didn’t tee off until 2:31pm. The pace of play was terrible and one of the worst parts of my experience there. The ranger paired me with three other golfers, which was okay, they were nice and friendly, but it is frustrating when I paid extra for a golf cart and didn’t get to drive one. That’s one of the worst parts of my experience here. After Hole 9, I was so frustrated from my experience and even more stressed from when I first came to the course that I quit. So I paid $72 for an unpleasant tee time. Horrible pace of play it wasn’t a weekend and I didn’t even get to try one of their cool carts. I should have gone to Tradition Golf Club or Dr. Charles L. Sifford. They are way better.

My favorite course since moving to the south in 2007. I haven’t had the opportunity to play here in years since moving from the area , so made the opportunity to play and wasn’t disappointed. The course and greens were in great shape. I booked online and got a check in message the morning of tee time. When I arrived, I was greeted by staff at the bag drop off for official check in so didn’t have to go into the clubhouse. The staff was very accommodating and paired me with another single player. The course has many characteristics from holes with water, of course sand traps, awesome doglegs, background of the ZMax Drag Strip, very scenic, and always seeing Blue Herons flying around or just hanging out. My favorite hole is number 3 par 5. Gragg’s rock sits in the middle of the fairway. I have always tried to hit it over the rock and sometimes have been successful, but this time, per the picture posted, came up short. Had a great time and will make it a point to come back again. Thanks to all staff that makes this golf course successful!!

Course is challenging with nice long and short holes. Price was reasonable and overall course conditions were reasonable. Dry greens where you tapped the ball and it ran 30 feet… next green was well watered and under repair…putting over a 8 foot wide by 30 foot section of sod. Weird, challenging and not really a concern. Carts are decent. GPS that actually shuts off the cart should you inadvertently run into an unauthorized area. At times one could not convince the cart we were on hole 9 and not hole 7. Driving range was acceptable. Only negative is some tee boxes were like hitting out of a sand trap. Clubhouse and pro shop super clean with quick friendly service
